Contradicting reports of Angelina Jolie popping her and Brad Pitt’s baby out any day now, she informed in a recent interview that she is not quite eight months pregnant. Hmm, she sure looks like she’s about to pop any day now to me! I’m wondering if this is an effort to throw the press off a little and have some privacy around the time the baby will really be born.
Can’t say I blame the poor woman if it is in fact a cry wolf thing. She’s been hounded by the press ever since she and the BradMuffin hooked up. Leave them alone, can’t you get it yet?

The latest news on David Lee Roth’s doomed Howard Stern takeover is that David Lee has in fact been fired and the
satellite shock jocks Opie and Anthony - aka Greg Hughes and Anthony Cumia will be taking over David Lee’s spots on terrestrial radio. The two shock jocks were on terrestrial radio about three years ago and were doing really well, when a boner move on their part - a church related sex theme - got the Catholic church all riled up and Got Opie and Anthony fired.
I’m not sure when the two will actually be on the air again, since the radio station I listen to that used to have David Lee Roth on now just plays music, but it should be soon!

Just when you thought Britney and K-Fed were in deep doo doo, we find out that Britney is indeed pregnant with the young couple’s second child right now. Apparently Britney was spotted swimming and was visibly pregnant, and her sources confirmed the pregnancy. I’ll believe it when I see it!

Low profile Angelina Jolie granted an interview to the Today Show’s Anne Curry, in her and Brad Pitts latest digs in Namibia. Angelina is expected to keep mum on her relationship, but may talk about her humanitarian efforts and her pending baby. The message she may be conveying too is “hey, press, leave me and Brad alone!”

I don’t mean to be a bit of a pessimist, but has anyone else noticed how Brad Pitt has become a humanitarian overnight after beginning to date uber-humanitarian Angelina Jolie?
Do I remember the Brad that only seemed to care about his hair and smoking weed? Hmm…can’t remember the Brad who suddenly took on projects to help the needs, the destitute, the forgotten as he is now with his new Louisiana rebuilding architecture project.
Ok, maybe I’m just being an idiot - I guess the world is a better place with one more humanitarian - even if he’s faking it a little because he’s with a hot mama. Let’s see how long it lasts. Maybe if he’s still doing charity work in ten years when they’re divorced - then I’ll be convinced!

Sorry, this is such a lame post, but I’m just sitting here lamenting the fact that the only pathetic TV I’m down to watching now is “Survivor”, “Earl”, “The Office” and “Lost”. Where have all the good shows gone? I really miss The Shield on Tuesday nights especially. Can someone please tell me why this show hasn’t gotten better ratings? Oh yeah, that’s right, because it’s on FX. Silly me.

Just saw the latest episode (a little late - our DVR caught it, but we were having cable problems before then) of the Sopranos. Looks like our question was answered whether Vito, who it turns out is gay, and was caught at a very gay strip club wearing something “like the Village People” wear as Christopher (Michael Imperioli) put it, is gonna try to stick it out and stay alive, or off himself or the guys that saw him at the strip joint before they talk.
Apparently that’s not even an option, because as we find out in this episode, that cat is already out of the bag on Vito’s closet homosexuality, and all the guys of course want Vito out. Since he’s an embarrassment now to the macho, manly red blooded Italian Soprano crew, most of the top guys want Vito gone, as in killed.
But Tony’s new, softer side is having second thoughts about enacting such a swift punishment to a guy who, other than being gay, is a good guy and a top earner for Tony. Looks like Tony may be swayed to the wrong (morally I mean, which usually doesn’t mean jack in the Sopranos world lol) way though. Just when you thought Tony Soprano was a big soft teddy bear, he turns around and becomes the lion that just ate the baby….we’ll see though, maybe they’ll surprise us.

My friend and I always talk about the show Lost, and try to figure out which of the many theories floating around out there could possibly make all the pieces fit logically.
Well, my friend is now convinced that it is definitely a theme built around a sort of purgatory - in other words, the place you go after you die to purge yourself of any outstanding sins you’ve committed before you get into heaven - and for some, they still never get into heaven after purgatory.
Purgatory is basically a limbo where you have to “prove yourself” to God before you are allowed into heaven, where you can rest in eternal peace.
I have a few issues with this theory. There’s no “science” to it. There are too many things on the island that are similar to a science experiment to dismiss that there is any sort of earthly intervention going on here. If anything, I think it might be something closer to what another friend I know thinks about the theory and it’s more along the lines of they’re all really unconscious on some deep level and are on the same wavelength because they are all intermingled in life in some way.
I don’t know - what’dya think?

Frailty is a great movie. Really. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this movie, including Matthew Mcconaughey who I usually don’t really get into, because I usually think he’s a bit of a method actor. Bill Paxton delivers a great performance too, as the father of the two sons we go back in time to story tell about. Matthew Mcconaughey, we know, is one of the sons, but we’re not entirely sure which, although we are led to believe in one direction throughout the movie.
It’s a story about perspective, about religion and faith, and the difference between true evil and true good, and the struggle in young boys with coming to terms with what they believe their dear old dad is doing - murdering innocent people that he says are “demons”. If I tell you too much more, I might spoil it for you if you’re thinking of renting it. Just know this, it’s a good ending, great story telling with interesting and mysterious characters. Great acting, and good cinematography.
Grade : A+
