“24″ Takes the Emmy for Best Drama Series
August 28th, 2006OK, OK, am I missing something here? I started off as a huge fan of the drama/action series “24″ from season 1, and consistently notice a decline in the writing and acting in the show, yet it’s viewership is higher than ever, and it’s receiving more critical acclaim now than it ever did.
I personally don’t watch the show any more when it became so ridiculous that I couldn’t watch it without laughing at the improbability of the scenes that played out. And, come on writers - does EVERYONE have to have ulterior motives in this show and turn out to be the bad guy?
Apparently America feels differently than I, since Keifer Sutherland took home the best actor in a drama series award, and the show itself won for the best drama series category - over the Sopranos, which I don’t get at all.
