It looks like it may be Splitsville for Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe.  The celeb couple officially announced their separation, but no plans for immediate divorce have been announced. 

Rumors about trouble in their relationship have circulated for a while now, but who don’t they circulate about in Hollywood?  The couple married young, as a matter of fact, Reese met Ryan when she was just 21 years old, and she’s now 30. 

They married about two years after they met, and they’ve been married now for 7 years, which is practically a record breaking marriage in today’s fickle Hollywood marriages and relationships.  They have two kids, Deacon and Ava. 

Rumors were fueled further after Reese openly admitted they seeked out couples counseling before and Ryan had hinted to distancing himself from his family on purpose for the filming of a new movie saying something about how it keeps more mystery in a relationship if you go your separate ways more often.  I have to say I agree with that, but when there are children involved, I’m not so sure that should be the way someone feels about their family. 

It’s too bad this adorable couple are going through a rough period, you really hoped they’d get through their marriage since they have two young kids, and they didn’t seem like the type of swingin’ partying couple that liked to party all night at Hollywood parties, they seemed more “grounded”. 

Another rumor about the tension is that it may have been due to Reese’s skyrocketing stardom and Ryan’s less fueled Hollywood career, although he did do some excellent work in movies, he has yet to achieve the same commercial and critical acclaim as his wife. 

Pete Townshend of the famous band “The Who” was scheduled to do a Howard Stern Sirius Satellite Radion interview.  He was actually waiting in a studio to be interviewed along with Roger Daltry and another bandmate, and when he heard Howard talking about the “child porn thing”, he reportedly stormed out, not wanting to talk about something he’d been 100% aquitted of years ago.

The Who prodigy was accused of looking at child pornography several years ago, and claims he was sexually abused as a child, but he was just looking at the images for research on a book. 

He was fully aquitted, and Roger Daltry stuck up for him when he went on Stern, basically telling Stern to cut him a break, and that he deserved to not be harassed about something that he was not guilty of.  What’s in the past is in the past….good for Roger - it takes a lot to get a shock jock like Howard to apologize - which is exactly what he did. 

Howard said he’s a big fan of their work, and that he loves them, and wants to have Pete on - Hmm Howard, I remember listening to your show a while ago when you were still on terrestrial radio, and you said you didn’t care for the Who - as a matter of fact - I think you said “Who cares about the Who?” or something to that effect….

Pretty country music star Sara Evans, who bowed out of this season’s “Dancing with the Stars” amid divorce and personal issues may be facing a fairly ugly divorce. Her hubbie is a former politician, and they have three kids together.

Weird Al Yankovic, who’s the genius behind parodies of popular songs like Michael Jackson’s “Bad” and other popular rap songs, including polka, rock, and other well known songs that beg to be made fun of, has come out with a new parody of a popular rap song which he titled “White and Nerdy”. 

The video, in typical Weird Al fashion, is hilarious, and shows a doo ragged Weird Al bein’ his white and nerdy self, but at the same time trying to be “tough” and “gangster”.  Weird Al has had a rough past few years, just a few years ago, both of his parents, to whom he was unusually close, passed away in somewhat of a freak accident involving carbon monoxid poisoning.

The two were killed when their home was filled with carbon monoxide fumes in their sleep, and Weird Al reportedly had a very tought time with their untimely death. He’s said that incident put him out of creative commission for a good while, but he’s back with a venegeance, and it looks like his new single White and Nerdy is getting a ton of attention - as it should, it’s hilarious stuff! 

It’s sad to see the former Beatle Paul Mcartney going through a divorce, and a bitter one at that, but one has to think that it wasn’t only his estranged wife’s fault (she’s been dragged through the mud as a gold digger before). 

In court documents that were supposed to be confidential but somehow “leaked” Mills makes some pretty bad accusations about Mr. Mcartney’s character, which he is expected to deny vigorously through his attorneys. 

In one she says that he would not allow her to breast feed their infant Beatrice because he said her breasts were “his”.  Another said that in a heated fight he tried to stab her with a broken wine bottle.  And in yet another accusation she claims that he still did drugs after their marriage even though he promised to quit after the marriage, and they had a baby together. 

There were probably more lurid details in the proceedings, but maybe those somehow stayed confidential - who knows.  One has to wonder how these legal documents always get leaked allover the place.  Could it be strategy?

Hilary Duff and her boyfriend Joel Madden have had to recently seek a restraining order against a man they say is stalking them, for the purpose of meeting and becoming romantically involved with Hilary.  The man, a 19 year old Russian guy, came over from Russia with, what Hilary’s people say, the intentions of meeting her and having contact with her at any expense. 

He has even written her letters saying he will do whatever it takes.  Ouch - scary.  Good thing they got a restraining order.  Apparently this guy’s been to a few of Good Charlotte’s concerts (that’s Duff’s boyfriends band), and also has had contact with Joel’s family and Hilary’s family so this guy definitely doesn’t have all his marbles and needs to be stopped. 

He’s also stated that Hilary is in love with him (at least in his mind) and that her boyfriend is basically the only barrier in the way.  I hope this dude just disappears.  These kinds of people typically don’t give up.  Hopefully Hilary and Joel aren’t too much on edge - which is more than I’d be able to say for myself if I were in this situation!

Madonna’s recent nine day excursion to the poor and torn country of Malawi was rumored to be an adoption trip, but this rumor was quickly shot down by Madonna’s publicist. 

Well, apparently Madonna was in the process of adopting a one year old Malawian boy from a father whose wife had died and two other sons had died of Malaria.  He did not want the boy to suffer the same consequences as the rest of his family, and sent the boy to an orphanage. 

Well, apparently now the father had second thoughts, and a watchdog group for adopted children has stepped in basically saying Madonna should not get special treatment and there should be no “accelerated” adoption process, to protect the children. 

I’m not quite sure I understand.  They are preventing a child who otherwise will live his life in an orphanage, from being in a priveleged lifestyle, able to afford schooling, nutrition and everything else that kids should be able to enjoy, and the government is stepping in to prevent this “travesty”?  This is backwards….totally.  This is exactly what is wrong with society. 

Angelina Jolie is no stranger to chasing photographers.  The latest incident in Angelina and Brangelina paparazzo fiascos is Angelina’s driver hitting a motorist on a motor bike in Pune where she is filming the Daniel Pearl story, which is being produced by partner Brad Pitt.  The two arrived there what seems like less than a week ago and already had two runins with overzealous photographers, anxious to get the latest money train pics of either her or her and Brad together with the young’uns. 

Angelina has recently criticized Australia and Americans for being complacent about the refugees across the continent, saying that she includes herself in that category as well (although she’s a goodwill ambassador?  perhaps Ms. Jolie is trying to be self deprecating?). 

This is the first time she has really spoken out in a negative manner against anyone, so it’s kind of refreshing to see her actually speaking her mind, instead of going along not criticizing the very government that is the reason for such complacency and attitudes toward refugees. 

And, more news from the land of who gives a crap worthless news.  Yes, these two publicity hos are at it again.  The twosome who were formerly best friends forever and bitterly split after feuding over something neither of them would confirm. 

It appears all is well in the land of rich girls Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie again, either that or these two are masterfully manipulating the media.  But I doubt it.  The two were even snapped in a photo looking pretty chummy, and since they wouldn’t even stay at the same club for a year, I’d say things are on the mend with these two partying, socialites.

Not only were Paris and Nicole spotted eating and text messaging together at a hot Hollywood hangout, they reportedly went back to Paris’ home in Hollywood Hills and had a sleepover….. Looks like these two are going to be BFF after all.  Until one of their stars eclipses the others again….oy. 

Some tabloids and reports are saying the the couple that technically never openly admitted they were even an item, might be over. 

Jennifer Anniston and Vince Vaughn, America’s “sweetheart” couple, may have gone their separate ways, some reports are saying.  Even though no one is confirming or denying the split, or confirming or denying an engagement rumor, or the return of the engagement ring in question.  Are you confused?  I am….
