Actress Julia Roberts, who has been noticeably absent from the Hollywood scene (good for her), after her marriage to cameraman Danny Moder and the birth of her twins Hazel and Phinnius, is reportedly expecting another child, although it is not clear how far along the actress is in her pregnancy.

Julia has been a long time favorite of America’s, and has really been a great role model in terms of not getting caught doing bad things and not being considered your typical Hollywood “party girl”, even in her earlier years of fame. She also stuck it out for years, and has remained an accomplished actress with bankability and acting chops (although I’ll admit, I’m usually not a fan of her films, except Pretty Woman and Erin Brokovich).  Good luck Julia! And keep being “normal” for all us people who are sick of over the top Hollywood types!

If you haven’t heard yet, Lindsay Lohan seems to be a tad off her rocker again, as she has sent yet another strange email to all of her friends and several lawyers, which somehow leaked out to the press. 

She sent an email, with several typos and even bad grammar, which attacked those who make up lies about her and don’t leave her life alone to be lived. 

She says they can’t get away with lying, yet never really pinpoints who the heck she is talking about.  Also, Lindsay claims that she talked to Al Gore (his reps say they talked briefly at a function where there were hundreds of other people), and he would “help her”.  Help her do what?

Britney’s wild, trashy behavior as of late doesn’t seem to be keeping people on her side in her whole Kevin Federline fiasca of a divorce.  Heck, I can’t stand the guy as most people can’t, but I’m beginning to wonder if Britney was also a deserving partner with her wild, unmotherly antics lately.

Now, she’s hanging out with the ultimate party girl herself, Ms. Paris Hilton, and she seems to be leaving her panties at home a lot, being photographed sans panties a few times causing fodder for the tabloids everywhere. 

Does she care?  Who knows…..I know it probably feels great to be free, since she is so young and all, but Brit, can you have some class – you do have two young little boys who will be old enough one day to read headlines! 

Michael Richards apologized for his now famous racial tirade in a comedy club now over a week ago on Reverend Jesse Jackson’s radio show.  Apparently Richards himself cannot even explain why he said the racially charged comments during his standup act when two black men heckled him during his act. 

He says that something overtook him, a rage, and he could not help himself.  He says he tried to look for the two men he insulted after the incident, but they had already left the club.  He also said he wanted to apologize to everyone in the audience during his tirade, but most people had left already at that point.

To watch this tirade is definitely uncomfortable, to say the least.  He goes off after the men (although I didn’t see how they heckled him, it was a poor quality video) heckle him during his appearance, calling them the N word, and saying they would have been hung upside down with a fork in their a$% years ago for interrupting him. 

It’s truly amazing that someone would go off like this in this day and age, even though it was a comedy act, it still makes you recoil in horror!

A p.o.’d limo driver called in this morning to a Cleveland morning radio show, Rover’s Morning Glory, and sounded off about his limo ride for K-Fed when he was in Cincinnati for a WWE appearance. If his story is true, it goes something like this : K-Fed tried to “not be noticed” but people really weren’t noticing him anyways, he said if anything people thought he was acting weird by trying to be incognito.

Well, despite the threat of legal action from Paris Hilton’s mother Kathy Hilton, the biographer of Paris Hilton’s life story is going ahead with the release of what is sure to be a well read book, well at least maybe in some circles, of people who still care about this “celebutante”. 

The biographer is Jerry Openheimer, and he says that his book is a pretty accurate depiction of Paris Hilton’s contorversial and very spotlighted celebrity life.  She’s one of the most followed celebrities, and yet also one of the most hated, and he says that the painting of the picture of her as an heiress who stands to inherit millions of dollars is not an accurate one, and that she actually does have to work for a living. 

Among other things, he says that Paris’ maternal grandmother was a stage mother and her mom and dad actually didn’t mind the sex tape scandal because it pushed Paris into the spotlight, where she could seek fortune and fame (based on what though).  They say her mother pushed her to use her natural exhibitionist streak to make headlines basically (I can see why the mother doesn’t want this book released). 

Her mother actually is the spitting image of Paris, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Paris looks much like her mother when she reaches her age.  The book tells of how Kathy Hilton aspired to be a model and actress at the beckon of her mother, but her career never launched and she kind of filtered this through Paris who had a natural flare for being a socialite.  If you’re interested, Oppenheimer’s book is called House of Hilton – From Conrad to Paris: A Drama of Wealth, Power, and Privilege

Neil Patrick Harris, perhaps most famous for his show “Doogie Howser” about a child prodigy medical doctor, has come out of the closet as being gay after many rumors and speculation about his sexuality and his numerous outings with his suspected gay lover.  Well, he’s finally come out and told everyone, yes he is gay, and he is content being gay and loving his life as a gay man. 

Neil is one of the many stars that have come out recently as being gay, following Lance Bass’ admission to being gay and dating another gay man, as well as another actor, TR Knight, who appears on the popular show Grey’s Anatomy. 

Hopefully this will signal a new shift in Hollywood, where men can feel more comfy outing themselves without fear of ruining their acting or performing career.  Might this hurt Neil’s protrayal as a womanizer on his TV show “How I Met Your Mother”?  Who knows, and quite frankly who cares – I’m glad the guy came out.

Courtney Love is sticking up for Mel Gibson after the big deal of a drunk driving arrest in which he made numerous Jewish slurs, saying that he basically came to bat for her when she was dealing with going back to drinking and drugs and helped her to the road of recovery again.

Love said she has been clean and sober for 15 months now, and credits Mel Gibson for that partially, since he basically showed up at her doorstep with a counselor.  Courtney says he showed up at a hotel room where she was doing drugs and wanted to help but she kept telling him to “f off” and go away. 

Sounds like Mel’s a pretty good guy.  I have to say, I felt kinda bad for the guy – I mean we all say some pretty dumb stuff that we don’t necessarily mean 100% when we are  drinking, and I think that part of us can identify with him, it’s just the fact that he talked about a very sensitive subject, and one that was speculated on before he even made the comments (the he was an anti-semite).  That’s what got him into more trouble. 

Madonna’s recent nine day excursion to the poor and torn country of Malawi was rumored to be an adoption trip, but this rumor was quickly shot down by Madonna’s publicist. 

Well, apparently Madonna was in the process of adopting a one year old Malawian boy from a father whose wife had died and two other sons had died of Malaria.  He did not want the boy to suffer the same consequences as the rest of his family, and sent the boy to an orphanage. 

Well, apparently now the father had second thoughts, and a watchdog group for adopted children has stepped in basically saying Madonna should not get special treatment and there should be no “accelerated” adoption process, to protect the children. 

I’m not quite sure I understand.  They are preventing a child who otherwise will live his life in an orphanage, from being in a priveleged lifestyle, able to afford schooling, nutrition and everything else that kids should be able to enjoy, and the government is stepping in to prevent this “travesty”?  This is backwards….totally.  This is exactly what is wrong with society. 

Angelina Jolie is no stranger to chasing photographers.  The latest incident in Angelina and Brangelina paparazzo fiascos is Angelina’s driver hitting a motorist on a motor bike in Pune where she is filming the Daniel Pearl story, which is being produced by partner Brad Pitt.  The two arrived there what seems like less than a week ago and already had two runins with overzealous photographers, anxious to get the latest money train pics of either her or her and Brad together with the young’uns. 

Angelina has recently criticized Australia and Americans for being complacent about the refugees across the continent, saying that she includes herself in that category as well (although she’s a goodwill ambassador?  perhaps Ms. Jolie is trying to be self deprecating?). 

This is the first time she has really spoken out in a negative manner against anyone, so it’s kind of refreshing to see her actually speaking her mind, instead of going along not criticizing the very government that is the reason for such complacency and attitudes toward refugees.
